Is this myLot or a haunted house?

I was about to comment on this discussion when myLot says,
"This discussion no longer exists or has been removed due to a discussion guideline violation."
The activity sortie still shows that
"Has my best friend deleted me? in alice_in_webland by Aliceinwebland was the highest rated discussion on Thursday, August 18."
so I wonder how this happened or why is this happening?
There's a lot of stranged things happening on myLot now.
So, has myLot already turned into a haunted house now?

i experience that already, and i felt a little wierd after i pour out all of what i know and type it when i press the post response button there it is ,"This discussion no longer exists or has been removed due to a discussion guideline violation." well maybe mylot was faster than me when deleting it and me responding to it. lol. but its okay. maybe sometimes we step on a haunted part of mylot.

Is this mylot or a haunted house?
Hello friend, this is My-dog-gone-Lot..........and it will never be a haunted house not as long as I am here. It seems that sometimes people want to come to a site and do as they want to do. Well they have certain rules here and each person must learn to follow them or will just get deleted, it's really rather plain and simple as that. Even a baby knows, to play by the rules with their parents or they will get in trouble or get their hands spanked. Maybe mylot is just giving the other mylot user a little tiny hand spanking and maybe she will come back. I hope that's all it is. Anyways, don't let that deter you from mylotting. Just keep on going with it my dear

as long as you're here
i agree that it could be a punishment to someone who makes mistakes, but it's too unfair that we all suffers for for it, when it should be the only one who should be punished.
i saw no violations on the original post so that's unfair for the original poster.

I was amazed when I heard from my friend earlier that her discussion had gone. I still saw it on the homepage too
Weird, really weird...

it should be there, if the response is from me. but the comment was placed in her response and not under my response.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I like to back-date on older days discussions. I have the habit to save urls of discussions that I would want to come back to later, after I'm not that busy commenting on say, my own discussions or something. But when I retrieve back the urls, some of the discussions are no longer in existence. I can't remember though what the title is about. Maybe I should save titles too in future so I could remember what kind of discussions were deleted..

Hmmm, I responded to that discussion. I didn't see any violations broken. Maybe the administration thought that was something that should have been directed to them instead of posted in the forum. Still, I didn't see anything wrong with it. Of course, if a troll was in there somewhere, they could have reported it as a violation. If a discussion is reported three times, it's automatically deleted. That is so not fair and I hope that myLot can figure a way to read all reported discussions before deleting them. It's a shame that the trolls have learned how to get discussions deleted because all they want to do is reek havoc and hurt people.
I did notice that myLot has added a new feature: quizzes. I tried to do one but it took forever to load the pages, then would not give me the results. It got to the page where it said to wait while it figured the results, but just froze there. So, they're still having problems. Maybe that's what all the weird stuff is about. Well, that and some trolls.

Yes, and I commented on your respond there. And your comment is actually what I was telling mysdianait above. How I wish you saved it and send it to me in PM.
There were a lot of similar discussions that day, when we, all the Lotters can't login and done nothing for more than 6 hours. What most Lotters did when system went back to normal was to post their disappointments, frustrations, etc.
I also see no violations with it. And you're right, trolls might been there, but it's unfair that discussion gets removed just like that.

Hi Alice. I'm not concerned about losing points or anything. I'm more concerned about your losing that discussion! Like I said, I didn't see anything wrong with it at all which is why I commented. I'd love to know what's going on because I got a response to my comment in one of Neil's discussions (about it maybe being haunted here), telling me that we now have to have over 100 posts before we can rate anyone (which eliminates most trolls since they never last that long around here) and THAT discussion no longer exists.
Neil, did you notice that? Your haunted house discussion is gone! It's just like Alice's discussion... there were no violations... none that I could see, anyway. I'm beginning to think that maybe we do have a mischievous ghost around here!

Oh, good grief... this IS the haunted house discussion! My bad! Sorry... it's just that I opened up a response from someone to my comment here (from an email notification) and saw that it was gone when I went to comment back. I thought it was the discussion, not the response. But, that response is gone, even though it exists in my email!
Yeah, haunted for sure!!!

awww..Alice lost a discussion, no wonder i lost a few post. there's no doubt there's a violation on her topic, but i don't know what it is. probably it's the violation of speaking to a specific user of mylot but the context is i think the maintenance block out of the site..but i never thought of mylot being a hunted house

i don't think there was something like that in the original post. maybe, as the discussion goes. but that was a waste, buddy. so you also did respond to that topic?

Hi neil, it interesting that you brought this up, p1ke was saying just the other day that he received an old discussion it was from a member who had been inactive for 6mnths! So really am unsure what is happening here at the moment..unless there is someone somehow playing pranks on members here..so far nothing has happened to me yet it would be interesting to know how many others have had weird things happen to them...LoLo

that's one reason i created this one, p1ke's discussion, i also saw that. 'there's really lots of weird things on the Lot now, and i know it's not just us, think most of the most active had weird things.

definitely haunted and my response I was making to you flew off
with the ghost or whatever. I was writing a response the other'
night when rightin the midst the page the whole thing disappeared, internet disappeared and I was on the beginning'
biosphere page where it asks for my pass word. I am going just'
what happened? okay so an hour later I try to find the discussion
'I was responding to as I knew the mylotters name and it was gone'no explanation whatsoever. did it get deleted in some sort of power surge, was it against mylot rules, did I do something wrong?what had'got my interest in responding was that this mylotter was wailing that his love of his life had just left him, and he gave the username of a
mylotter whom I used to personal message.she was a lonely woman who desperately wanted to find a love and get married again. Ijust wanted to help them get back together.was this discussion breaking mylot rules? was it just a power surge.like I said w hat happened?

absolutely, that's what had happened to me.
and i also have no idea what caused the whole thing to disappear.
the one that disappoints me is the comment of my dear friend, that is so important to me and my little angel's health. she's trying to help though i know she has problems too.
but anyway, i guess everything's under control now.

Alice's discussion got deleted? Geez, maybe it was considered complaining about myLot? Grumble...
Well better watch out, since yours is about a deleted discussion, it's probably next...

haha i have had that happen too.. usually when its a hot topic and i take too long in replying (like having it up on my browser but then doing other things before coming back to respond and submit) what makes me mad is when i wrote out this huge thing and then poof its gone.. im like grrr

yes it's true tamara. and it's so disappointing and frustrating on the part of the original poster when it's the highest rated, well responded and suddenly removed, without knowing what's the reason.

It only means to say that mylot admin is actively looking at all activities that we do here in the site.Just like my experience yesterday, I was arguing with a newbie about mylot. He was trying to give negative things about mylot. when I was about to give my comment to response, his response was gone, what was left was just my comments, and i think mylot admin has deleted it, so it is very important that we post quality discussions, happy mylotting!!

i actually don't feel a thing when it was removed, what is a penny and i can still get it from other discussions. what actually angered me was, there was a comment for me that is very important to me that it goes with the entire discussion. i never got the chance to read it fully and never saved the messages too. if that's too important to you and it's gone, will you be happy?

Hi neil, yah, i wanted to respond to that discussion too but it also disappeared. I guess it would be better to ask the author of the discussion as to why it got deleted. Sometimes it is the author himself who wishes to have his discussion deleted. So it would be best to ask the author before assuming that they are myLot glitches.

It has happened to me too, You never know when a discussion is going to be removed. I think that it happened to me twice yesterday, i was responding from my e-mail to a friends discussion and when i tried i got the this discussion has been removed due to violation. All i do is move on to the next one, and hope that it is still their.
@neildc (17238)

yeah, just go on the next topic. but if it's our own discussion that was removed, it would be a disappointment if you think there's no violations on your part.

This happened to me before, I wonder why.
And also, any poeple can reduce the reputation of the person who posts. There must be a way to judge it right. Also, I saw a lot of people just repeat and repeat and repeat the same topic. Very boring just for that small money, these people are mean, those the ones should be reduced the level.

i thought about that too, mylot maybe stricter now than before. but that is such a waste and people who see it and try to responde will get shocked too.
