Call it a weird coincidence but why is it that when you need to use the PC the most, it starts acting up. I'm pretty sure everyone who owns a PC has come across this scenario at least once. It's as if Windows detects your need of urgency and just decides to take the day off. Now it's quite understandable if you feel life smashing your PC into bits with a sledge hammer but that's not a very fruitful solution, is it? The reason for failure could be many; like, failing hard drives, bad motherboard, overheating or just a Windows issue. You'll know if it's a hardware issue if you don't get a short beep a few seconds after you hit the power button. Let's see what steps we can take to fix this

if someone has a regular boot up problem... sometimes restoring your computer to a previously working restore point works...

well in such cases the best thing to do is to run the computer on safe mode and then disable all the things which you think can be causing the problem. but yes if the OS does not start the best thing for me is my acronis true image back up which i use to restore my PC back to the state i like and so i don't have to install all the softwares but i get a new OS with everything is good condition.

It Beeps only in case you have an internal speaker installed ..... Secondly you have to decide if its a hardware issue or a software ... you can do that by running diags .. capturing the stop error on the blue screen... Then if its sofware you have many options to start with Last Known Good Configuration--- Safe mode-- System Restore .. ChkDsk from the cd .. Disabling non microsoft services and startup applications ... The troubleshooting is very vast for a No Boot issue but depends on the base of the issue
