Pixie Haircut

Well, I finally went for it! I have been considering doing this haircut since springtime. However, I was kind of afraid that it would either be too challenging for me, or that it would not look good on me, even if done right. It has been so hot here lately and my hair has been bothering me so much. Really if I cut it back to my normal style it probably would have been cool enough. But I had to take it even farther and finally try the pixie haircut. I think I did a pretty good job on it. I usually like symmetrical styles only, but I went for the slightly asymmetrical look with the somewhat messy layers. It is hard for me to not be such a perfectionist when cutting my hair, but overall I liked the look better when it isn't super perfect. It will probably only last a month or less since as soon as my hair grows an inch it's going to be too long in places. But I think this will be a good style for this month at least. Whether or not I cut it like this again will depend on the weather.
