Texting While Driving

This PSA Texting while driving is pretty graphic but it has had millions of hits world wide. This film was made by a tiny police department in Wales, UK today it was shown on the Today show asking parents to show it to their teenagers in the hope it will deter them from either killing themselves or/and others! Do you think this will help stop this dangerous practice to all teens and adults who text while driving?

this is video can be very helpful, apart from this awareness should be spread among the teens telling them to avoid texting while driving.

Put it this way whiteheather, if this video doesn't do the trick then nothing will! Wow!! What a video!! It gets straight to the point and pulls no punches but that's what kids these days need! I'll let you in on a little secret, I tried texting while driving and frankly, I CANNOT do it! Being an older and more experienced driver, I tried to see if I could and I could NOT so how do these young folks think they can? That's so beyond my understanding.

I think maybe it will jar people into thinking about the consequences of their actions. Really, anything you do that distracts you while you are driving ups your risk of an accident. My first year or two driving I refused to even listen to my car radio because I was so scared of getting into a wreck!

I think it's crazy enough to talk on the phone while driving, but to text? that involves taking both hands off of the steering wheel, and both eyes off of the road. When they say cruise control and automatic, they don't mean that the driver has no responsibity, or that the car can drive itsself.
