Would you mind eating the same dishes on the same day? For me, I wouldn't mind a bit; as long as there's food to eat, I'll eat it. After all, "we eat to live" not "live to eat". How about you?

Well i eat them on the same day, just to make sure its not wasted or rotten. I accept your words, we eat to live and eating the right food at right time is strength for our great works

When I was a little girl Thursday was pasta day in my house. We would have spagetti and meatballs, with a salad and garlic bread. Then when I was raising my family I moved pasta day for my family to Sundays. Like you I wouldn't mind at all has long as there is food on the table.

Not at all for me. But my hubby usually don't want to have same dish. When I grew up, my mom usually cooked some dishes in larger portion ( there are sometimes 10 people lived in my parents house ). So, whatever you had for lunch, you will see it again for dinner. In here, I always store the leftover food, and heat it up again, or probably make some fried rice with them.

In this times of crisis, I think it's just practical to eat same dish on a day. It's not bad at all. Just reheat the food properly not to cause abdominal problems later. However, if the same food is spoiled or has some taste, I won't. I might spend more money to treat myself than buying fresh food.

I worked at a hotel in a resort for many years. And we had Fish and Chip Fridays for Supper, every friday with very very few exceptions. I don't like fish. But I am like you, if there is food I will eat it.
Many of the other staff choose to eat elsewhere, even though they paid already for the meals there. So they pay the 2.50$ for the meal, and then they go and pay nearly 12 or 15$ to eat elsewhere, silly I thought.
You feed me, I will eat.
