I learned a LONG time ago that if I want to have a few drinks, I need to turn off the computer! So yes, I've done it but it was a long time ago before I learned not to embarrass myself. Turning the computer off before the first drink makes you think about posting.
I can't drink that way anymore so I don't have that problem. Getting older takes care of a lot of problems like that!

LOL I've never done this but go into pogo late on a Friday or Sat. night and find a room with a bunch of drunks in it and you'll find some pretty funny chat there. I used to love reading the chat when there were several drunk friends chatting in a game room. Forget the game, the chat becomes alot more entertaining.
I seldom drink and haven't been drunk in 15 yrs. yet I can usually tell when someone is drunk and chatting online. Pretty funny!

Hi Hatley,
I've been online for hours at a time and have gotten tired and I've done the same thing to where nothing made sense.
Usually I could go to a mod in the old place where I hung out online and ask them to delete the conversation.
Here I think it's a little different....still trying to figure out if posts can be deleted or not, but I don't think so.....

Don't drink, try to eat some which can make you into muse, just like peanut, but never eat something sweet, they will take your attention away.Actually when posting, you'd better be away from your food, when finishing a certain number of your post, you can reward yourself
Anyway, drinking is always not a good habit or idea. But I consider you are a stronger person, because when you are unconscious, you still can post something you are not agree with

I have posted drunk before, but I've never done anything embarassing. On another site similar to this one, I conducted a little expariment. One weekend when I knew I wouldn't have to go anywhere for atleast four days, I thought I'd have a little fun, and run a little test on myself.
I poured a water-glass FULL of vodka, got myself some snacks, and sat down infront of the computer. I started drinking, and eating over the period of the evening, and when I'd finished the glass of vodka about an hour later (I drink slowly so I don't get sick, and remember, I was drinking STRAIGHT VODKA) I typed a little "expariment" letting people know exactly what I was doing, and why i was doing it. The point was that I wanted to post something while intoxicated, and then look back on it when I wasn't hungover, to see what I'd done.
The vodka didn't really affect me at all. I guess I'd eaten enough while I was drinking. The next morning I got up (I felt fine) and went back to read my little expariment, and the comments posted by other members of the site.
It was as clear and coherant as the post you're reading right now! :)
Evidently I can hold my_liquor pretty well.

That's pretty good danish!!
I've posted things that didn't make any sense on a site similar to this one a long time ago and the messages could not be deleted.....It was a close knit group and everyone there never would have thought of me as a drinker at all until I posted the non-sense that I posted, they thought it was a code or something!! lol

Nope, never happened. I once did an expariment on myself where I drank a big glass of straight vodka, and then got onto a site I knew where, where people knew what I was doing, and posted something. Evidently, even after a big glass of straight vodka, I can post coherently. I am one of those lucky people who knows how to hold her_liquor.

I have never been drunk and posted anything online like that LOL. I have read some of my previous posts though and often wandered what I was actually trying to say though. I have often forgotten even posting such a response at times also.
