I suppose we had to wait for someone to come up with the technology to replace a steel gas cylinder with other materials before this idea became possible..Lightweight gas cylinders whose contents you can actually see so you need never run out again..how simple an idea is that?! Will it catch on,Do you think? Thanks for responses!

Cool product but what about the price. I've run out before but I always keep a backup cylinder that is full. I mark them and use the one till it is empty. When the first one runs out then I start the second one and get the first one refilled at my earliest convenience. My guess is that it works out cheaper at this point although I can't say that for sure since my quick research didn't give me a price for this new type of cylinder.

Agreed...I use bottled Gas myself for cooking, but the tanks are in a galvanised "Bin" outside in the back Yard..and I don't go out there every so often just to check how light the tank is getting-If I run out,I'd have a backup,or the place I usually buy from is within walking distance,(not that I'm walking there and back with one of those heavy things!) I just thought it interesting that the tech was now available for a lightweight, non steel container capable of holding a pressurised gas..at the very least it'll be easier to lug the things around, and hopefully not more expensive!
