I was wondering (maybe someone else did and tried it) if you put an ice pack (one thats sealed but doesnt have any metal on it) in the freezer, froze it and then put it in the microwave and nuked it would the ice pack blow up? I was wonder this because i have a sandwich container that came with an attachable ice pack. I was going to nuke my chicken to eat and made sure to take the ice pack off before doing so. Has anyone tried this? Or do you know if it would blow up...or melt or what?

hmm i would think it would melt.. but i dont know.. when you nuked those meals with the gravy packets you put a slit in and they dont melt or explode but then again they have the slit so..

I tried a nuked meal that had a brownie in it once! It didnt explode in the 3 minutes it was in there and i dont remember putting a slit in that. If i had an old microwave and an ice pack id be so tryin to see what happened!

It's a bit cruel to nuke your chicken like that. Poor thing! LOL. I have no idea but in the interests of science and idle curiosity - please try it and give us the results! Make sure that you are a safe distance away too. Don't want any unexpected medical interventions!
