Headache after wearing sun glasses

it is not that if the quality or the glass is good or what, but whatever i cant wear sunglasses for very long. i have got myself checked up also by the eye specialist so that if there is any problem , i can take care of that. but my eyes are perfectly ok. i just cant wear sunglasses . my head starts paining. i donno its because of the frame that presses my temple area , or i am not in the habbit of having anything on my eyes or nose, so..... do any of you also have such a problem ?i love sun glasses but i cant wear them. i m really very fond of them.

My problem is the exact opposite, actually. The fit of the frames, can greatly contribute to the headaches that you are experiencing, as well as perhaps your eyes simply aren't adjusting well to a change in the light. I've also experienced, that if you're wearing glasses that have a rubber or plastic nose piece in the center, that the position and tightness of this against your nose/sinus aera can cause general pain in headaches. Does this happen no matter what sunglasses you use? If so, are you trying different styles of frames each time?

i think you are right like i am already having migraine and sinus too at the same time. i am having treatment also . some times in sun i suffer from a very very bad headache and that can go on for two to three days also. so i think my problem can be becasue the frame may be pressing the sinus area and becasue i have sensitivity to it, it must be effecting more to me in compariosion to others.

I had the similar problem. I think there are three reasons: first you have contact lenses when you wear sunglasses. I felt headache due to wearing contact lenses in same time. Second your sun glasses colour is not suitable. You can try to start from lighter colour then to deeper one. Third one you don’t wear glasses or contact in your daily life, but you can not see things clearly. I like having sunglasses but I feel headache and I can not walk properly, so now I almost give them up.

thanks for your resposne dear. i dont wear any contact when i am wearing sun glasses. i wear contacts only when i am out in a meeting, get together or on a shoot. otherwise in my daiky life and outgoings i dont wear them. yes, color can be a case with me becasue i have bought of black and dark green colors so,.... i donno.

Hello this might be due to poor quality glass, they may not be glass at all just coated plastic, buy a Rayben product, i am sure you wont get headache..
