I know this January I am planning to go back to school....but what for exactly dunno yet. Here are my three things to choose from....Nursing...which I am good at and love, but one I cannot work fulltime while doing the clinical portion of the program or I have to work crazy hours....in order to meet the bills....MBA in Healthcare Administration...which I can do online and work fulltime like I am now and get my MBA in about a year or year. Or shold I go for the gold, which is not as job guarantee as the healthcare degrees....the MFA in writing. I love to write, but wish I had more training in it for the actual creative process and novel writing....and actually get a degree instead of just taking writing courses....but... So see...I have a mix of desires and dreams. Two would gurantee better income and one would satisfy a dream. So what would you do? I am not sure which I will choose....might just wait until decemeber....

I think you should go for it and get the degree in writing. If it's not what's meant to be, then you wouldn't be dreaming of it so much. "The Creator has not given you the desire to do that which you are not capable". I can't remember who that quote is from, but it is one of my favorites. I myself always dreamed of owning a rental property. It took me about 13 years, but I finally made it. And I plan to keep building from this one. The other thing I always wanted to do is to make money and be able to travel...well, slowly but surely I am figuring out ways of doing this as well. Life is exciting, make it happen!

We always freaked out every time hard decisions has to be made. I do that most often. But at the end of the day we always have to do the right thing and what's best for us.

If you arrange your time or schedule reasonably,I think you can take your activies at the same time. You can work as a nurse or get MBA,and in your spare time, you can write and read.I believe that the true value comes from life and you can training your writing skills by your own thinking and reflection about your life.I know that a famous writer in China, whose name is Yuhua, has ever been a good surgery doctor and he gives us some really good books.Have a plan and work happily.I think you should never give up your dream if it makes you happy and be yourself. But sometimes, maybe our dream is not our job for living and earning money. It does not matter. We can find our exiting value from many different points, such as helping others, doing job that can benefits many people, pursuing your favorite activies that favor your soul. This is life---we have choices;we have dreams;we have possibilities;even we have regrets.

I also get freaked out over a tough dilema. It's either I do it, or I don't. I tend to actually to it or attempt to do it in those situations. Because usually, I always say to myself, I am going to regret later, and it works. I did not do stuff and I hatefully regret it because it was only a one time thing, so when I do something, I'm usually committed, unless it is like totally dangerous or criminal. These choices can be as small as talking to a girl, or giving your parents a call once in a while, etc. I usually feel good about myself and I simply just do a little thing can make a lot of people happy. Everyday, I remember one quote, Just Do It. It's that simple, follow that quote, and you will probably suceed in life most of the time if you are making good decisions. I wake up in the morning with my alarm clock, I say, Just Do It. I wake up and have a good day. Or I'm running a 5K marathon and my heart and my mind is telling me to stop, take a walk, relax. But Just Do It are 3 simple words that can really make you keep going and I knew also that if I had walked, I would totally regretted it after the race. So, don't freak out anymore, Just Do It!

You just have to relax & take it slow. I think you can do both. Go ahead and work toward your MBA. You can write while you are in school- I'm not sure how much schooling you really need to write... maybe some but not so much that you can't take a class a year. Yes the medical field will payoff faster and if you love it then go for it- but you can still accomplish your other dream of writing while you are working towards your other dreams. Again- just relax and take it slow!! Remember you don't have to accomplish all of your dreams at once... because if you do than you have nothing to look or work towards later.

Yes, of course. Many times. I freaked out because no decisions pop out in my mind. It was the time when we were at the beach and we have this party. Well, everything in the was going smoothly and yet no one had prepared for the food so I was really freaked out because the program was almost over and the foods were not yet ready. Luckily I have a friend who help me out buying those stuff that I need for the meal and of course we bought the meals.

Do what you love to do or you'll regret it later. You'll always look back and think I wish I followed my heart. That's my situation in a nutshell. Of course, if your not good at the thing that's your dream then it's probably better to give it up. We can't all live our dreams or there wouldn't be any garbage men. But its best to find out if you can live your dream and fail then to never know at all.
