Do you write down your discussions for later?

I think this has been talked about before, but I don't remember...
When you're out and about, do you write down something that would make an awesome discussion? I do. I always have a note pad in my purse just in case! When we went on vacation, any time I would snatch up my purse and start digging for my paper, my husband knew I had just seen something that would make a great discussion here.
It's a running joke now - I just look at him and say "That's worth at least a dollar!"
The only reason I mention this is because I'm finally getting to all my notes - some 2 weeks later - and I found an AWESOME thing that happened to us that I totally forgot about!

I do not, but I guess I should. The reason I do not is not because I think I can remember, but because of a previous wrist injury, my handwriting is so bad that I might not be able to read it. But it does seem like a good idea and I could try to print it. There are times when there is a discussion that I want to start that would be very interesting.

Hey, maybe if you have a small tape recorder, you can just carry that around and say your thoughts into it. That might be a worthwhile investment. I know my brain is way too full of stuff sometimes, and I forget good discussions a lot.

I thought about that too, right after I hit send... They might think you are just talking on your cell though, and that wouldn't be such a big deal :)

Yes as long as no one listens to me and decides to send me off to the loonie farm.
Trouble is that I think of them when I do not have my digital recorder with me. But it is a good idea.

Yup - keep a small notepad and pencil in your pocket - or the laundry basket! I always wonder how much money I lost because I forgot an awesome discussion...

When I did not have a notebook with me, I tore off a piece of paper towel to write on. I never know how much they are worth, but they are priceless when it comes to memories.I think it will be great to hear about the cool stuff you did. Making discussions helps you secure your memories.

I'm almost done with all my "notes" from my last vacation. It's actually funny how I forgot some of this stuff!
