Hi Mylotters,
Today when I started my opera browser it asked me for an upgrade and when I finished the upgrade really a new surprise for me and everything is new and I love it.
Somewhat it is similar to firefox but its great when you are a regular user of Opera.
Post your experience guys. Have you upgraded? How about your views on that...
Share guys...
Cheers... Have a nice day always...

Hi phillip,I use to use Opera then switched to Fire Fox.Its getting really buggy like Internet explorer ,so if they don't come out with a fix soon. I will be back to Opera.
I had them both running for a bit and did love Opera but think ,I changed do to others telling me FF was better
This was in my dumb days of using the PC. Now I can ,make correct disisions myself so listen to no one until ,I have seen the proof. All thanks to PC World
Lots of good info. and honesty in there.

Really no time to be here as previously before. I use to come here and raise 2 discussion and then go off. I really miss you and all.
Need to spend some more time.. Working on that...
No time even to respond to others discussion. God please give me more than 24 hours a day to spend time with nice friends...

Opera has always been ahead of other browsers. Notice that it is already on version 10, while Firefox is still on version 3. I started using it since version 5, and at that time it was already miles ahead of IE, with tabbed browsing (many thought Firefox started it), small footprint, stable, secure, and low memory use.
Version 10 has gone way above what it had achieved in the past. Remember that its actual installation size is still smaller than Firefox, but with greater built in functionality. Even with two windows open with 50 active tabs, I had no problem with it. On the other hand Firefox would slow down with only 20 active tabs. So far the latest Firefox has crashed out on me for more than 5 times.
The Opera team is the quickest so far when it comes to patching up any holes. I know because I still use Firefox and a few other browsers. Incompatibility issue is to me, minimal. I rarely had to use IE or Firefox to view certain web pages.
If Opera had been freeware since the beginning, the history of browsers could have been different.

I have also opera version 9 in my pc, and firefox, i love opera a lot during the first time i use it, i don't remember the version of my first opera browser, but it already have the speed dial option. The option that i really love about opera is the way it download from the net. It has a download manager which resume the part where you left off.
I will try that version of opera soon. thanks for sharing.

I currently use three browsers interchangeably in different websites: firefox, internet explorer and Opera. Yes I upgraded my opera 9 to 10 recently and I have found out about its new "turbo" feature which you can turn on, off, or automatic. I think Opera 10 is the current fastest browser today
