As I have observed, not so many people are fond of collecting stamps nowadays, due to economic meltdown. Most people do not even spent an envelope to mail a letter, but just click the internet and send some messages to all friends and relatives to inform the latest news around. Not me,because I am really a fond of collecting stamp that whatever happens to the hobby,I am still into it.

Its good that you are collecting stamps. That might turn into a small fortune in the future. Added to that is there will eventually come a time that stamp collectors are as rare as the stamps that they collect. You should continue collecting stamps and not let the hobby die down. You may be right that in the computer or internet age that we live in, the usage of stamps may be gradually declining. That might just raise the value of your oldest stamps. Anyway, though the use of snail mail might be getting infrequent at least there are still stamp collectors like you who see the value of those stamps.^_^

Thank you very much for your response.Yes, I still collect stamps even if it is dying as I observed, but I will still be a stamp collector.I am not affected to all the bad news all aound, I just set down and glance to my collection, by doing it,I just not hear nor see the bad news, but also it fascinated me,then the only thing I know that I am already sleepy. Stamps make my day wonderful.

Thank you very much for the response. You are true to your words,as I also observed during these days of economic slowdown.I still love my hobby, yet it does not bother me because it makes my day worthwhile. Even if I go mad because of stress, I just see my collection then I will be alright the next minutes.
