What's in your passion card?

Hi dear! You know it is a well known saying that - "if wishes could be horses.........". Desires and wishes keep coming in our minds day in and day out and we always 'wish', why cannot our desires be fulfilled or why cannot I be in someone else shoes. We get fascinated by others' lives and keep thinking - Alas! Why I cannot be like that person. You have posed a difficult question, which could have different answers, yet I try. I would have remained a free bird. I would have remained single, had there been no compulsions in life of getting into wedlock (as our society expects/demands from us). I would have lived a life of a bachelor and would have devoted my life for social service specially in spreading edcuation. I would have resorted to the profression of teaching and that too who cannot afford to go to schools or do not have resources to study, without any consideration. However, once married, I feel that you are put under so many restrictions, responsibilities and tasks that you just keep 'killing' your desires and just stick to family routine. Have a great day! Well simple one's actually What i want to do the most To be in the environmens of nature with a family and loved ones. To be able to see an appreciate some of the most beautiful places in this world, To be able to share and really do something for people who need help most especially children. What pleases me most Is to see a smile and happiness amongst those with and around me. And once in a while be able to spoil myself with some of my favourite foods while having a picnic under the shade of fig trees with thier leaves as a carpet. And a cruise of some of the remote areas of this earth. These are somethings i've always wanted to do.

I will be traveling a lot and see the world.At home two of my passions are great Hollywood movies and good books.

I cannot think of anything special but I have had no great expectations nor compulsions in life.Come to think of it there is one passion that I may have indulged in if I had been given the right opportunity in my times.--I may have become a light music singer[I sing old film songs especially well [with a lot of spirit and accuracy and sruthi/ proper pitch ]

I would be an all around artist(painter, sculptor, musician, singer, etc.) I would also own a large piece of land, making it my a haven for all kinds of animals, untouched by the commercialization of the industrial world. I would be a scientist, chemist, alchemist and oceanographer. I would also be an astrologer, divinator, and sensitive. I would be a lot of things, but that is only just in an ideal world. In reality, I am what I am.

Oh, mainly being a teacher no matter what the age group. I loved teaching adults as well as children, but you know being a teacher had lots of frowns, sorries, hurts and pain too...not many inhibitions, though! Aside from that I like being alone with nature...and expressing creativity.

mimpi hi hatley here what pleases me the most is to write'about anything and everything, what would Ihave done if there had bee no compulsions in my life, be apublished author and live to see my books on the library shelves but now its a bit too late. but I can still w rite for fun.

Hi mimpi1911 If there was no compulsion in life then I could have browsed the net whole day.. freakout with my childhood friends.. Bunked my classes as much as possible and the list goes on continuing..

My biggest wish would be to live in a farmlet in the country or to run a cattery taking care of beloved felines. I have been looking at buying one but there have been none for sale and to open one from scratch would be way beyond our means. The ideal would be to have my cattery and to own a house in the country also with lots of animals!
