I love a lot of different cat breeds, but up to now I've only ever owned a Manx and a Norwegian Forest Cat. My next breed will definitely be a Pixiebob, preferably one with longhair. They're so dog-like in personality, that I can't help but to be drawn to them. I also like Somali cats, but I'm not sure I'd ever own one. What is your favorite cat breed? And why?

Hi Breepeasce I tend lean more toward the DSH (Domestic Short Hair) and I like the pattern of Tabby I have a gray, blackand brown(the brown is under his belly) DSH named Jinx. I also like the Orange Tabby as well they look like Morris the Cat who used to do the 9 Lives commercials. I think Siamese cats have beautiful blue eyes but they can be quite moody at times in my experience. I also used to own a Pursian cat named Butch that was the first cat I ever owned when I was about 11 years old they are quite hairy lol and their hair is long but they are really pretty cats .There is a program on cable TV called Cats 101 I have forgotten the channel it comes on I usually just go to the VOD (Video On Demand) and catch the episodes from time to time its very interesting I learn something new about cats every time I watch it.

I've always be partial to the Siamese, why I'm not sure. The cat I'm taking a liking to now is the Savannah. They have such an interesting look with their long legs and their spots. I'll never get one, though, because I don't want to pay the price. The cats I have are mixed, but I love them even though they're not pure breeds.

I like Siamese, a lot of my cats have some Siamese in them, some don't look like a Siamese, but they sure do act like them!

My favorite breed has got to be the Siamese. They're just so elegant and loyal. I had a cousin to the Siamese up until a few years ago, though his temperament was just the same as one. I sure do miss that cat. I'd love to have another someday. Happy mylotting!

I have only had mixed breeds, mainly American Shorthair mixes. I would never go looking for a specific breed from a breeder as there are already too many cats needing homes in the shelters.

I am a big fan of exotic cats. Cats like the Mau, Serval, Savannah, and the Caracal really appeal to me. I think I would love to own one someday...now I just have to take care of the allergies in the house! Dive Deep!

Almost all of my cats have been mixed breeds. We've had Siamese. Two of them were really lovely cats and the other two were neurotic messes. We had a Persian who was really sweet also. Right now I have two tabby mixes, a black and white longhair and a manx mix. All of them are very sweet, but the two tabbies are are kind of nervous.

I've always loved Maine C00n cats, although I've never had one personally. All the cats I've had have been calico's, which is sort of a heinz-57variety. I like them because they seem to have greater lifespans that some other breeds. All of mine have lived into their 20's, which is pretty good for cats.

All my cats are mongrels. All adopted. I don't have a particular favorite when it comes to breeds because I don't know much about cat breeds to begin with. However, I must say that most of my cats look like Tabbys - pattern, size, colors. They're easy to maintain with short hair so I'd have to say that I prefer cats with short hair.
