Have anybody played this game? In my view, this game is not only a ordinary game but also an encyclopedia. The most valuable part of this game is its civilopedia. Through reading it, you could know a lot about the development of different civilization, including military units, technologies, systems, buildings and wonders. To those who are not English native speakers, it's also very helpful to improve English. What do you think of this game? I'm expecting your opinions.

A lot of people has played Civilization 4, as well as its prequels. Now, while I admit that Civ4's Civiopedia has gone a step over that one of the prequels in what comes to detailing historical facts of people, technologies and whatnot, as a game, for me it lost the value that its predecessors have. I want Civilization by the game mechanics and not by the educational value, because if that was what I was searching, I'd use the more appropriate resources.

Yeah, if a game could not provide the players with fun, it's absolutely a failure game. It would be better if players could learn something while playing the game.

This is my all time favorite game, it's just great to pick up and play. I used to play for 5 hours in one sitting. Civilization 4 is one of those games that have a high replayability. You learn a lot about history, culture, and strategy. This game will never get old.
