Ryan is a really lousy father

What good father would let a little girl of that age ride her bike to school all alone much less a father who is supposed to be so fearful of her being kidnapped by her mother. He has the money to hire someone to escort her to school or at least keep an eye on her if she wants to ride to school. But he is more interested in hurting and accusing Annie of anything and everything than he is in being a good father. He has hurt Emma the most by keeping her from seeing her mother. He is too busy putting the moves on Erica to take care or be truely concerned about Emma.

Ryan may not be the best father but Annie is not the best mother either. They need to bring Greenlee back so Ryan will get another storyline. Hopeful soon the writers will do that.

I couldn't agree more, Ryan is just a control freak. He want to control his kids and everyone around him he really ticks me off. Emma runs off and instead of spending the afternoon trying to find out why she would do that he goes off dancing with Erica, what a jerk.

There was a poll on a soap site, and it asked the question which character on All My Children would you most want axed? The winner for that question was Ryan. The same question was asked for One Life to Live, and the winner was Stacey. And the winner for The Young and the Restless was Tyra. And for General Hospital it was Olivia.

he only wants to be a father when he can use it to make himself look good.. if no one is looking emma or spike are never around which makes me wonder why the heck he has all that free time yet doesnt spend it with his kids!! he is like just stealing them and collecting them now as trophies to say "look at me im such a great father!"
