No. A light bulb moment is like when the light suddenly goes on and everything becomes clear. It's like Pythagoras crying "Eureka".

If you don't enjoy your working or something else, like listening to others's talking, maybe you will have a light bulb moment.Sometimes i will have a Day Dreaming,I think it's because i want to have a better life.It can encourge me to work harder ,do better to my family and friends. So in my opinion,Day Dreaming is good to our life. But if you have a Day Dreaming almost everyday,i think it's bad.
yparson ,come on. Maybe you can change another job which you are interested in.Work hard and enjoy your life.Good luck.

I can see the parallel, but they are not exactly the same, in my honest opinion. A daydream is when we think of wonderful things we'd like to happen, a lightbuld moment is when something comes into our mind that we can apply; an idea that we absolutely have to impliment.
When I think of lounding on a beach in Croatia, that's a daydream, but when I suddenly discover a surefire way to earn enough money to get there, it's a lightbulb moment.
