guaranteed referrals?

are my referrals guaranteed here in myLot? i am new here so i would just like to verify that, because from other money earning sites, when you send an invitation, a field/portion/place in the invitation link places your referral with whom you can be sure of the you are the referral; however, whenever i try to do t his in mylot, after sending my invitation link, the ?ref=aylim14 at the end of the url is lost, and i cannot find anywhere in the site where i can be sure that i will be the referral of my invite.

When anyone signs up using your lnk then you can be certain they will be here in your downline.
Whether they will earn anything for you though is another matter. If they just sit there in your downline wihthout pposting anything they will earn you nothing at all. Sadly finding active referrals is not easy here.

It is because you do not have any yet.
Go to 'preferences' at the top left here
and then to 'notifications'.
Set your notifier to 'on' so that you will know when someone signs up under you.
They will automatically get a friend request from you and, if they accept, you can then help them here through private messages (and by responding on their discussions).

oh, sorry, i forgot to add.. i did not receieve any emails either from myLot. nor did he get an invitation as my friend. did i do something wrong? i don't want to think badly of myLot because i haven't heard anything negative about them, so could you enlighten me?

The minute he signs up using YOUR link he will appear in your downline and will automatically receive the friend request from you.
If he is not showing up then something went wrong and I suggest he CANCELS his account (two accounts are not allowed and both would be deleted if he kept them active) and you start again making sure he uses your referral link for the sign up.
You will not see referral earnings until the day after his activity when earnings update.
