I think everyone here must be knowing that brown rice is more healthier to eat in comparission to then white ones but then too most of the people love to eat white rice . i think white one tastes better than the brown because i myself like to eat white in comparision to brown. which one you prefer ? ours is a country where rice is our staple food and i love rice .

The main nutritional components of rice are:proteins, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, iron, glucose, fructose, maltose, vitamin B1, vitamin B2. Rice is the staple food of people's daily life, suitable for all ages. Great gruel and rice soup will help children to absorb the nutritious food. In my country, rice is the staple food in many areas.

I'm from south of China, hence I have rice everyday. Rice is our staple food.
How to say, you know, old rice always looks yellower or browner, and it's harmful for health indeed. And new rice looks white, at least whiter than old rice. In this case white rice tastes better and people prefer it, I think.
I guess the brown rice here also means unpolished rice, if yes, it's good for health because it contains more nutrientsubstance. And several wicked vendors here also mix French chalk with old rice or polished old rice again to make it seems whiter and better. And more and more people realize it now.
So housewives here are usually skilled to judge rice by different aspects, such as color, smell, touch, etc.

I'm Brazilian so I eat rice EVERYDAY..white rice mostly. But I absolutely love yellow rice. It's the best rice ever. I know, it's just white rice with some seasoning in it, but still. I've never had brown rice, but it is much healthier so I'd love to try it.

i honestly prefer white rice especially if it fried!
You know i do find it ironic. Brown rice is a lot more expensive and healthier than white rice. What i do not understand is that it takes more time to polish and process white rice than brown rice, then how come brown rice is more expensive when it doesnt need any processing? Rice producers should be giving higher price to white rice than the brown ones so that people can consume and appreciate healthier food.
