Currently due to the economy jobs are very hard to find, especially for the freshers. Companies look for experienced person but if the freshers don't get jobs now then how will they gain experience? Are you facing any such problems? or Have you faced any such problems?

You just look for that one company that is willing to train you. I'm facing it now. Actually, my problem is different - I have experiene, lots of it. Should be no problem, right? wrong. It's because I have so much experience. Not that I'm overqualified. It's that because I was there for so long, I didn't think I had anything to worry about. It's all about selling yourself. And I ama much better employee than I am an interviewee. The whole first year, I knew nothing about interviewing or even looking for a job because I never thought I was going to have to do that. But one big problem I have faced is "must be proficient in excel." There are alot of programs I have learned in my life and have had no problems. And I have downoaded tutorials, started to read excel for dummies, can't get it. I know the basic stuff. How to insert, even how to make the columns wider or smaller. So I have to ignore thoswe onesw and concntrate on others. Just keep trying. That's what I'm doing.

I struggled for a year after graduation .With hindsight i can only say don't give up and keep trying. While i was unemployed i did a course in management.I learn't about investing in stock and real estate markets.I upgraded my computer skills. The reason i'm mentioning this is as you learn new skills the better are your chances of being employed once the tide turns.

I used to be in that problem. When I was just graduated, I'd been told that my qualification wasn't good enough. To further study or work in the same field as my qualification, apply and work for other position first. So I did. I choose a position that's not related to my field and applied again after a year. Then I was told I didn't have enough experience in the field. My current work at that time won't give me experience that I might need. It was sux.
