is there such a thing as a soul mate?

mylotters, do you believe that there is that one person out there for you. someone who is the perfect match for you, one who would complete you? is it possible even though we are not genetically predisposed to have only one mate forever like penguins. and how do you know when you have met this soul mate, how can you be sure? or is all this just fairytale nonsense that we have had fed to us by hollywood?

YES, I believe that there is a soul mate out there for everyone!!! I don't know that everyone meets theirs, but they are out there waiting. Why do I feel this way??? It took me 50 years to find mine, but every bad thing that had happened to me in my life put me in the right place at the right time in order to meet him. Once you meet yours, there will be NO doubt in your mind!!! My soul mate knew what I was thinking just as the thought was going through my head. He completed my sentences & he made me want to give 100% once again without feeling that he was trying to TAKE all 100%. In return, he gave back 100% without me having to MAKE him want to give it. There was NO fighting even when we disagreed. All of a sudden the little things in life no longer matter as you have EVERYTHING that makes you whole!!! It's not a fairy tale like shown in a Hollywood movie...it is MUCH BETTER!!!

I think that there is such a thing as soul mates. My best friend (who is a boy) and I have been close for a number of years. For a couple of years, I have been in love with him and he has been in love with me. Honestly, I can think of no place I would rather be than near him. I want to talk to him at anytime, I want him to hold my hand, and I never get tired of hearing his voice. I feel like I can tell him anything and know that I am putting my information in the safest vault on the planet. When I am away from him for long periods of time (or even short period of time) I feel hollow and empty. People treat us as one unit and I feel like we are. Don't get me wrong, I am my own person, but I feel better with him. I can think of nothing I would rather do than be with him for the rest of my life. I can't imagine a future without him in it and I love him. I know that no one will ever compare to my man, and I am the most important person in his life.

awwww guys that is so awesome. i met mine and lost him, and now he is living a life with some girl who i believe is living my life. hard to bear but hey things happen exactly like they are supposed to right, i shall see what will happen. i know that when we meet again it will be like no time has passed.

If it will make you feel any better, I thought I had met my soul mate when I married my first husband. Boy was I WRONG!!! Turns out he was the devil's first born son. He broke my heart & treated me like crap. I was devastated for years. I was down on men & down on life...that is until I really met my soul mate!!!
I think when you truly meet your soul mate, they love & give to you just as much as you love & give to them. Since your perceived soul mate has left for another woman, my guess is he is not your true soul mate. Once I stopped looking for my soul mate, I found him. We both fought the feeling, but in the end, we could NOT deny!!!
Good luck in finding your true soul mate. Even though you cannot see it right now, the other woman has done you a HUGE favor. You are now forced to keep looking for someone who loves you dearly & finds you to be his soul mate. He is out there just waiting for you...Fate will bring you two together!!!

You think you know all along, you know what you think and feel, telepathy is very well represented, friendship or love binds itself, communication is easy, the pleasure of being together is best. There is a special feeling that you can indicate that compared to this man of a different attraction than for others.
