You often hear people say they go to church. The church to many is a physical church building where they meet to worship God. But going back to the original Greek word where this term is translated from is ekklesia which refers to the assembly, or the congregation. Should we not say, we go to the church meetings, or we go to the assembly hall, instead. What does the term "church" mean to you?

For me, the word church refers to a place of worship where people gather together in the likes of learning about and worshipping god also getting a chance to fellowship with one another and help and encourage each other as well. Church does not necessarily refer to a building of one sort as Church can be held in a home, an organized Church building, in a Tent, etc. It just means the coming together of like believers getting a chance to give their Praises unto god.
