Roses are red.
I say phooey.
If I wanted popups
I'd go back to Yuwie.
Seriously, does anybody (who has noticed) like the fact that words in your discussion can now pop up an ad? I don't.
I'll let you in on a little secret, that you may or may not like
Firefox has an add on called noscript. It's a bit of set up work upfront. You have to tell it which sites to allow scripts on and if you forget, things tend not to work.
But you don't get any stinking popups. None.
So there, myLot!

I haven't seen any popups, but I've hardly been here this week. I have family here.
I use Firefox with AdBlock Plus and I think that would block them anyway. Apart from the Eversave adv at login I never had any advs or pop ups at yuwie. (I feel sad when I hear that word)

I visit there occasionally, just to get messages from some still there, but it is sooooooooo sad.

we came to the conclusion that myLot didn't test their lovely new change under enough conditions...

It can be annoying until you get it the way you like it. But every new website requires a new tweak. I suppose that applies to Facebook apps too.

I have just notice it the last few days. I really do not care for it either. It is a little annoying if you are reading and accidently more your mouse and the popup appears. Well everything doe have to change so I guess we will just have to except the changes here.

You can always install Firefox with the add on if it really annoys you.

Hi dawnald,
I just thinl users should just ignore these things as much as it is annoying as we cannot do much about it till mylot decides to change it again, it is so silly though.

I'm sure they're hoping that we DON'T ignore them, since they no doubt get revenue from them.

I must say i have not had a pop up pop up yet but i have noticed the words in some discussions now have been high lighted with blue lines underneath the words which i did not get told what that was about.Did you get told what the lines were for? Happy Mylotting.
