I love my Keurig coffee system. I will never go back to any other kind. I even bought one for work. I have given them to all my family. It makes an excellent cup of coffee. The variety is unbelievable. My favorite is the lack of a carafe and coffee grounds all over the place along with the ability to make multiple cups of various coffees.

Basically a Keurig makes one cup of coffee at the time. The coffee is sealed in a small cup called a kcup. They come is a vast variety of flavors. They also have hot chocolate and tea. There is no carafe, no coffee grounds everywhere. It's neat, clean and quick. It offers a lot of versatility because several people can make coffee, then tea, then hot chocolate without doing anything different but dropping in a new kcup. The machines are available about anywhere now - Macys, Sams Club, Bed Bath and Beyond and many more. Go to Keurig.com for all the details.
Wow! I sound like a commercial.

Hello wlee, well I hope you are going to enlighten me to what this actually is as I'm a coffee addict, but really can't afford to keep replacing the cafeitiers which I continually break for some reason (they are very pricey here in Greece). These days I use a standard brik to make my coffee in, then pour the coffee through a tea strainer to prevent the coffee grinds going into my cup, unless of course it's Greek coffee in the brik in which case there is no need to strain it.
But if there is a new thing out which we may possibly see here in the next few years I'd like to hear about it and could even try to order one which will cause me huge amusement when the shops deny their existence.

Oh thea don't miss out on the kuerig. They have a website where you can order the K-cups and the machines. The k-cup is a sealed cup that has the coffee in in it. You drop the sealed cup into the machine and make your coffee one cup at the time. There are a tremendous number of varieties. You don't have a carafe you have to clean. A cup of coffee takes about 20 seconds to make. There are no grounds to measure. It keeps the counters clean and tidy. The coffee is great and you can change flavors with each cup if you desire. In addition you can make tea and hot chocolate - so the whole family gets in on the action. Wow I am beginning to sound like a commercial :)

Coffee in twenty seconds. This has to be worth looking into. Is it real ground coffee in there though as I don't do instant. Also is it electric or battery, just wondering for when there's powercuts which there inevitably are in winter.
I've no problem with you sounding like a commercial if I can get coffee in twenty seconds.

I don't own one, but we have an industrial one at the store which i work in, where customers can make and purchase a cup of coffee to enjoy while shopping. I think it is great and use it all the time when i am on my breaks and lunches. I love the fact that each person can make eactly what they want for coffee. Where we have it set up in the store, we have probably 15 different blends availiable in the little cups to choose from, granted i still usually stick to my favorite french vanilla, or on occasion make myself a hot chocolate!
