Should the bus driver open the door for getting off?

Today is a crazy!! It took me almost 3 hours to get back home while only one hour is to be taken in normal situation. It may happened to the Holiday here and the rush hour together with the traffic Jam. People in the bus are just like the burning ants, most of the people would like to get off the bus and ask the driver to open the door, but the bus driver refused as it did disobey the rule if not getting off by the bus stop. People in the bus complainted a lot," we are not in the middle of the road, why not get off?" " If a pregnant mother would like to give birth, we still can not get off?" " The rules should be changed according to human being. Law is dead." What do you think? Do you think laws or rules should be changed according to different occassion?
