Today is mid-autumn day, fireworks crackled across the sky. I can image the happiness outside and the occasion people celebrated the grand festival here. And I am here to post the discussion, lol.
How are you spending your mid-autumn day? Are you having an open house only for celebration? Will you light the fireworks outside to enjoy? I missed the fireworkds in the mid-autumn day when I was young and the latern as well.
Will you let off the fireworks alone if nobody accompanied you to recall the memory?

Hello, Sasalove, I never light the fireworks myself. Instead I like watching the ones lighted by others. They are so colorful, so beautiful in the sky. Tonight, I enjoy the mid-autumn with my son, and my parent-in-law, it is the first time my son having mid-autumn day. He is so happy for the crowded and the shows on the street...
I hope you are not lonely. Do you enjoy this festival with your family?

Thanks for your response here. I am not lonely here as mylot accompanied me and the friends on the internet also. I just have the festival dinner with my family and did not have the excitement like before. I missed the childhood years that I can carry the latern to walk around with companion with the moonlight.
Happy Mid-autumn Day and send my best wishes to your family.

Hello, Sasalove, thanks and best wishes to you and your family too. It is true that our curiosity are decreased while we are growing up, so does our excitement towards some big event. I still remember when I was a little girl, I got excited for every big event, I countdown the days, expected the days to come... Now everything is plain for me... Tody I enjoy this festival with my son, and somehow, he bring me with joy.

I usually don't light it up alone. I think fireworks should be share, at least by two people. It's kind a bit sad and lonely to lit it up alone (no offense to those who enjoy it~~~) I usually left the lighting part to my younger siblings. They enjoy it more than I do and I have more fun to watch them having fun.

Hi Prinzcy,
If I have the option, I really don't like to lit up the fireworks alone,it is true that it will feel more lonely in such a festival alone by doing such a silly things. Hehe~~Will you light the fireworks in the festival or in the daily happy day?

really nada? anyway, if it was a ritual here, i would probably do it depending on how i feel on that given day. here we celebrate with fireworks on 4th of july and some do on the new year.
