Are you an ice-breaker?
I think I am not.
now I am in a new workplace. I sedom greet to people who are much younger than me and who doesn't smile or say hello to me. maybe this is not good, but, anyway. I am the kind of person who takes time to get along with.

i am a very reserved person but at times i am an ice breaker too. at times we come across some people whom we like and feel like interacting with them. if i feel that way for some one then i break the ice by just saying a small hello to the person. then i wait for the person to start a further interaction with me...
sometimes i feel i don't know how to start a discussion or may be i feel hesitant because i am unable to judge the person and hence don't know from where to start.

i'm similar to you in this respect. i think this is one of my shortcomings so i always try to change and make myself an easy-going person but i haven't changed much. you know it's hard to change one's nature.
