2012 Looks AWESOME!!

Has anyone seen the trailers for the upcoming movie "2012"? It sure does look AWESOME, I have to say that! The concept of the movie - the world coming to an end in 2012 - is a bit frightening but I'm afraid I'll just have to be afraid because it's going to be a must see for me.
Anyone else scared to see this movie but still planning on being the first one in line?

Of course I did not see this one, but I did watch on on satellite TV...forget what the name of it was. I was disappointed in that one. I like when the writer, director actually think about all the implications and bring out the WHY this is happening in movies. This one only focused on the fear and the heros trying to out wit the end of the world...and of course, they did.

I probably saw the same one you saw but there have been so many I can't think of all the names either. They seem to follow a formula, like you said, where there's massive panic and then the handsome hero saves the world. I have no idea how "2012" ends - and I don't WANT to so NO SPOILERS without warning, please - but I'm sure it will be exciting and hopefully not too predictable.

I'll definitely check it out. I also think it will be a good movie. I like the lead actor. He's acting is outstanding. I don't the story about this movie. For me it's another hype. Why are people always thinking of the world ending soon? They like that? ahahahha. We'll all die.

I thought from what little I have seen, that it would be good. I don't plan on standing in line, but would like to see it.

I saw the preview on tv last week and thought it looked really great too. I'm a John Cusack fan too, so that doesn't hurt either! lol. I'm not too worried about the world ending in 2012. If it is going to happen, there is no stopping it, so why worry? lol. I think the movie looks really exciting and action packed. I can't wait to see it. I think it would be awesome to watch it in the movie theater sitting close to the giant screen!

I saw the sneak preview the other night on TV. It really does look really good. Kind of frightening though imagine if that really happened, but I really do want to see the movie I want to see how they cope with that. Where does the airplane land? How do they survive. I am looking forward to seeing that movie. There are a few movies I really want to see out right now but since I have three kids it is hard if it is not a kids movie I usually have to wait till it comes out on DVD.

Ay it does look scary...and I am such a scaredy cat but I love horror movies nevertheless. I will definitely see it in theaters! It's kind of scary though, that people actually think that the end of the world will be in year 2012. I sure hope they are mistaken

There has been talk of the world ending for as long as I can remember and I guess even before then so I'm not too worried. There's no sense in worrying about something you can't do anything about anyway, right? I love horror movies too, good ones that is. I think 2012 would be more of a disaster/action/adventure movie than horror inthe classic sense although the premise is certainly horrifying!

My brother was telling me about it and it really sounds good. I would like to see it but, after an outing to the theater a few weeks ago, I'll wait for DVD LOL

Yeah! I saw its trailer two weeks ago and it is promising! I think movies that feature stories about end of the world seems to me so interesting. I am looking forward to see this film. :)
