Late last year, we renovated our house because of the termites. We call the termites control but it didn't work out. Have you encounter this kind of hassle? What did you do?

We also made sure that it is concrete except for the ceiling. But we have put some chemicals on our wood now.

We do have our share of termites. It is indeed a problem when termites attack. We have spend so much because of the damage. Well, there are different ways now to treat wood to keep termites away. Its rather costly but then of course its much more costly when you have to repair the damage brought about by termites.

Yeah I do have faced this type of problem in my home. It's a silent killer. Once it was eaten up my stamp album in the book self. We never know how silently it spreads and how rapidly. We occasionally use gamacscine powder to control the pests but all time it is not successful.

We have a termite problem and we still have them until now. They have this device that you will put under or somewhere in your lot. They say it will kill the termites, i want to eliminate the queen termite so that it will not bring more termites in this area.

yes, i have encountered that too. but the termite control worked out. it even killed all the cockroaches. try to get the service of someone you trust so they will give you good service and use the best pest control materials.

Hi feodda, I have experienced those tiny armies in our cupboards. I thought I was rid of them. But somehow, some survived. :( Anyway, we have a nic spray out here for all insects, and it is very effective against termites as well. :) In our case, it was not wood, but damp wall that brought in these unwelcome guests.

We’ve had our house checked because my husband found some in a pile of wood outside. Fortunately our house was okay and no termites were found in the roof. We have cement floors but the roof is wood inside of course. It is incredible the amount of damage these creatures can do to a home, we saw a house on TV that was getting literally eaten by termites and it was almost destroyed; horrible things they are!

My parents live in an old house. We get termites at home sometiems especially when there it is raining. In order to prvent it we polish or wooden materials once in a while. Polishing really helps. One of the things which can easily get termites is wood. Also, termites are found on wall if it is kind of wet. My Mom also uses salt or kerosine to prevent things form termites.
