Constantly Refusing an Interest Category

Man this is the one thing I feel that myLot administration would have tended to by now. Once a new interest category for us shows to add to our private interests after we respond, we click no to "add" it to our interests. Yet when the category comes up again for our response we have to refuse to add it yet again. Each time we have to click no. Why can't such a simple thing be tended to. Does it annoy you to no ends having to click no all the time as you wish not to have that interest in your list? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

No really, I don't think about it much. Quite a few times I've actually changed my mind and added it, too. Maybe that's why it keeps showing up...in case of a change of heart?

Hi grandpa Bob I know what you are saying and yes it is annoying as heck. I have to do this every time. Maybe they don't understand what no means..LOL..Hey listen something else. Have you noticed that you have to tag everytime you make a comment or response. It use to be if you started a discussion then you didn't have to tag after the first round but now I have noticed that you have to every time..

I've noticed that before and could never figure out what to do - I may respond several times to a topic but doesn't mean a role I play in life is 'husband' :( There have been a few times I didn't comment back just because it was annoying - or another one is 'why did they put the discussion in that category to begin with' that annoys me too :(

yes, that's why I pretty much close the whole thing when I get to the Tag page and don't go back to the discussion ...

Yes, it does bug me a bit. One "interest" that I refuse to "add" is the "life" one under "hobbies"... it ain't.

Same thing with tags. If I've responded to a discussion and I've skipped adding a tag, and then if I go back in and respond again, it wants the dang tag again. Not only should both those things be fixed, but wouldn't it be nice if it would ask you all in one step? Post tag? Add interest? Submit response?

Hello Grandpa, I agree it's an annoyance to refuse each and every time. Maybe they thought it's good for you to be interested. Else, why did you care to discuss on that topic? LOL Anyhow, I am studying DB management now a days and it seems so hectic to keep record of so much things: what one likes, what s/he dislikes etc etc. I feel quite sympathetic with myLot, who knows perhaps they will feel the same about me too.

i hate the thing.i wish we could turn it off, frankly. i wish instead we could just have an "add" thing permanently somewhere that doesn't pop up.

Yes, it annoys me A LOT!!! I'm very busy trying to supplement my income and I have to submit then skip the tags then refuse to add the interest. That means I have to come back to the thing twice after I push submit. Meanwhile, I'm working on another reply or adding something to an article I'm writing. It's VERY irritating, as are the blue links. I'm getting very annoyed with this place.
