My dad's friend recently got victimized by these people. He somehow gave his information through some online thing which required him his passport number and account address in yahoo. Then the hacker sent out email using his email address to all his address book stating that he was robbed in England and was asking for her from all his buddies to send him dough so that he could come home. His contacts were people from all over the world including here in the Philippines. People started calling his family and his cellphone because they wanted to send him money! I don't really know if everyone fell for it, but my dad was ready to send him money before we stopped him saying that he should be sure it was his friend doing so. Upon calling him, he told him it was not true and was hacked. Have you ever been hacked like this before? I've heard of a similar story from a friend's sister as well. Tsk tsk. You couldn't really trust anybody online these days, I guess.
