I think it was last year when LCD tv sales boomed, and everyone is out to get one. Everybody was fascinated with the idea of flat screen tv, as for me, i thought the people on the television looks flat and distorted haha, they are stretched horizontally. But lately, or the last time I went to mall haha, I've seen LED tv's which are amazingly thin, not only thin, but amazingly thin haha. They cost way more than the LCDs, but people say they do less or no damage to the environment, is that true? haha I like the thin televisions, but the price is way too expensive haha ^_^_^

The thing that impresses me with this LED tv is the thickness, so thin but ofcourse theres pros and cons when you compare thistwo and one is the price...

It's all about marketing. Of course, like boys with their toys, people will always be fascinated with what's new to the point of spending too much on something that wouldn't really give you happiness forever (like how we scrambled to purchase our LCD televisions as if owning one would really make us content).
Humans wants are insatiable, it doesn't take too much marketing to trigger the greed for being 'updated' to happen. Like how everyone is buzzing about the Iphone when it first came out and is now buzzing about Apple or Microsoft's Tablet.
Whew!
