I just got back from the hospital on this bus. Soon we passed a round-about. There was police everywhere. Roads were closed because there was a demonstration against some company retrenchment. Heard it was the second day of demonstration.
Our bus refused to go any further. The bus driver insisted that we get down and walk back. I obviously refused. The other passengers were also unwilling to get down. Finally, the bus driver had no choice. We refused to be marooned! So he look for a different route and sent us home. Have you ever experienced such a thing?

You still take bus. Bus service everywhere is so unreliable except Singapore and London. Why don't you take MRT OR LRT OR MTR or Monorail or whatever you call in your country.

Were you on the bus as well? This bus plies the hospital route. The demonstrations was on for two full days. It will affect those buses from 4.00-6.30 pm. So, if you are on the same bus routes, try taking taxis as they are more versatile and can find alternate routes out of the social milieu.
