He's a pretty one alright. Black with a nice square peace of glass in it and 4 beautiful chairs. Do I ever sit at it? Once every 2 years when my mom comes to visit otherwise we eat at the living room table. All I use it for is to put the mail on it and fold my laundry on it. Do you have furniture that you never use or sit on?

Well, my husband rarely once or twice a year will sit at the table..I sit at the table more then him to eat but not as much as I should. We do eat in the living room or in front of the computer more then we should. we don't use the furniture in the guest bedroom except to fill it full of stuff that we have no where else to put.

That's why it's nice to have 2 bedrooms. You can fill it up with stuff that you don't use but you don't wanna get rid off it either.

Yeah but hell when someone wants to stay and I am the one that has to clean it up for them..lol I really need to get in there and clean it up. If I haven't used it in a year I guess that means I can pretty much live without it.

No..we pretty much use all the furniture I have. I don't have extra though. If it weren't for the girls, I wouldn't use my diningroom table either though.

I used to have like a second little living room in the dining area. It was cute with a little love seat a recliner, table and lamp. Like a little reading area but I had to get a new table course my mom has a hard time eating on the couch.

I am in a furniture business, and I change furniture quite often as I find new designs in ever changing trends. Yes, there are furniture that just sit around without any purpose but just collect dust but are sometimes handy to put things on top. enjoy

It is quite the dust collector.

When I had my house I had extra furniture that went unused. Now that I am in a a one bedroom apartment. I use every piece of furniture, even if it is not what it is intended for.

yes, i have an extra dining table which we placed in one of the rooms on the second floor. i kept it because it is quite expensive. it is one of the things that i could not longer sell (been on buy and sell of rosewood furniture, etc. before) and i am keeping it for future use, maybe for my children when they have families of their own. i am keeping it wrapped with hard carton and check on it from time to time.

My old one was a big oak dining set. I kept it on the balcony for years. I got rid of the chairs but still have the table. It so heavy and I live upstairs.
