Generally we bring 1 cell phone for daily use. But I had seen that there are other who actually bring 2 or more cell phones along with them. Do we really need to? Cant they opt for dual-simcards models? One would argue of using both to differentiate between personal and business. Are you among them?

Hi rj4pau,
No. I have only one cellphone. If they wanted to differentiate personal a& Business they can opt fora dual simcards model phones.

There was a time when I had 2 different cell phones. I had one that was my business phone, and the other was my personal phone. You see, my company paid for the business phone, and I was no allowed to use it for personal calls. They would actually check everyone's monthly bill. Now, I don't work there anymore and I only have one phone. I don't even have my house phone anymore. I don't need it.

no, i have got only one mobile phone and that is enough for me. i think that having two or more mobile phones is stupid because you have to take care to more objects, you have to pay two different "charges". then you can be reached on two mobile phones contemporary, and that could be a little annoying, expecially if you are at home and your telephone is ringing... 3 phone calls at the same time. difficult but not impossible.

I guess some people need 2 phones. I personally only have 1 cell phone & I use for both work & personal reasons. My work does reimburse me portion of my phone bill for using it for work. I have an unlimited plan so I don't really care. Even if they didn't reimburse me, I'd get an unlimited plan anyway. I get unlimited voice calling & unlimited messaging for $100/month & it's about to go even lower.

Like what you have mentioned, there are cellphones that cater to dual sim cards. I believe that it is better than having 2 cellphones. But then , if they do have the money to have 2 phones , then so be it. For me, I do only have one phone since I do not feel the use to have two and besides, it is expensive to buy another one.

Personally I manage to survive with no cell phone at all, and so does my husband, so I would say, no, no one really needs two!
But I suppose if it is helpful to your business dealings or something then that could be reasonable.
Call me old, but I remember a time when it wasn't just assumed that everyone has a cellphone! I used to have one back in England but have not had one now for five years. I like the fact that people can't get hold of me wherever I am -sometimes you like to get away from them!

I do have 2 cell phones, but only one is activated, as the other one I use for playing my music only. I kept it for playing my music, as I don't have music on my new cell phone. I don't have a land line so I do need the cell phone for everyday use, as I use it to keep in touch with my kids. My daughter and I text a lot, so use it for that. My son doesn't text, but he does call me from work at times, so I do need it a lot, and I would certainly would be lost without it. Take care, and happy mylotting.

You might need for 1 for personal use and one for business use. They might even be under different carriers. But do you need two for personal use? Absolutely not. If one phone isn't doing the job, get another one. Cancel the first one to save some money for the cost of the new phone.
