Well, I am sitting here thinking, and answering your question would be easy!
But as I think, a little deeper, I am trying to figure out, what led me to, and made me even start playing a guitar! I have no idea, I just know that acquaintances, and events led me to buying a $3 acoustic guitar, and the rest is history! I was fourteen yrs. old, the Beatles had just come out, and I have been playing since 1964!
I was shy in school, so forget that, but here 40yrs later, I have my own bands, as the leader, and singing and playing lead guitar, and even making an income!
Somewhere, somehow, I just got the need to entertain, and that is what I do!

I was able to play the guitar last year. seriously, my fingers hurts like hell. My first reaction is "I want to quit, this is insane" but then I realize what is the purpose on why I want to play the guitar. I started from simple chords, and now I almost memorize all the chords on the chord chart. What an achievement. Today, I'm learning on riffs and licks. It is so hard. But Practice makes perfect. I mean Practice makes Permanent.

I never really cared for the guitar until a few years ago. Ever since I was little, I always wanted to play the piano--that was my first love. However when I was a senior in high school at a performing arts school part of the curriculum was to take a class in one of the other majors and I was put into a classical acoustic guitar course. I really wasn't into it at all, although I picked it up fairly quickly. The last couple of years I've started getting back into it, and hope to soon own my own guitar (as I've been borrowing a friends for the last few months) so that I can learn some of the songs on the radio and being putting music to lyrics I've been writing since 9th grade.
