hello friends, ive been reading about it and is said to be due to hormonal change in the body. am sure that for a female it is a harrowing experience to find that her hair is starting to get thinner. i know it is also gives a low esteem to men having this problem. getting bald is not an easy thing to accept. does anyone here know of a way to treat the same without resorting to seeing a trichologist? thank you. ann

Hi ann, my wife, who will turn fifty next year, is experiencing the same problem, and is also keen to find a solution. If her's continues to fall out, I'll have more than her. I hope someone has some solutions here. Mike

hello mike, i had thick hair when i was younger but it is true that as one ages, the hair seems affected as well. i guess she should find professional help if the case is so severe like what you are saying now that if it continues to fall out, you will have more hair than her. hair to a woman is very important than men think it is. happy mylotting. ann

I think Asian women are more prone to hair loss than westerners. The problem seems to have subsided at the moment, but it is still a worry, and I will try to get some help for her. Thanks ann.

You hit this right on the mark, my hair is not only falling out but each hair is getting thinner. I don't know what to do and the hair dresser just says I am getting normal baldness for elderly females. I don't want to hear that, I want to be able to do something about it. Any answers?

hello pat, sorry for the delayed response. i think were in the same boat. mine is thinner too and the scalp seems visible now especially when the hair is wet. there is a variety of aloe vera that grows so big. one neighbor is having hair problem after she suffered typhoid fever, and she used it on her. she started about six months ago and now i can see a big difference. her hair grew thicker. but i cant be using that especially because i go in the office. i would smell icky if i put that when i go to the office. ann
