looking for advice

Hi all, I would love to be able to apply my make up and get the professional look. I can do the basics but struggle with eye make up to get that sophisticated look and can end up looking overdone. Any tips for someone who should know what they are doing by now but is still a novice? Know of any sites with good advice?
