Has anyone been seeing the previews for the remake of the eighty's mini-series 'V'. I remember we would watch that faithfully every week, my dad was a big Sci-Fi fan. It' looks really good and I'm so happy to see that Bailey has got a real role. Don't get me wrong, he's been steady working since Party of Five went off the air, but I think this is the one that will get people remembering who he was - like Matthew Fox on Lost.
So, it looks good, can't wait to see what the aliens look like under the skin mask! It should be so much cooler than twenty years ago.

I have heard about it but haven't actually seen any previews for it- I so totally love the V miniseries in the 80's it was AWESOME. If this is half as good - it ought to be interesting. I am a major sci-fi fan. -what channel is this going to be on and when does it start? do you know?

I don't know if I'm breaking some sort of rule, but you have to check it out on hulu. They have clips. It looks really good.

It does look like it will be good and something I will watch. Is the actress in the previews the same as who was on Stargate SG1 as the human born(Vala's child) part Ori girl; I think her name was Adria?

I don't know about it being cooler than twenty years ago, because lets remember how shocked everyone was when it was revealed what the aliens were really all about. Twenty years ago, it was different than anything we had seen on TV. Now there is weird stuff and supernatural stuff in TV series all over the place.
I was hooked on the original mini-series and I am intrigued by the new series coming up. So, I will definitely be watching the start of it. I don't know how they are going to stretch it out into a full season, but I'm going to give it a chance.

I'm not really into Sci-Fi, but I loved 'V,' particularly the friendly alien who wanted to integrate. I think he was called Willie? I haven't seen the previews, but unfortunately I don't expect it will be anywhere near as good as the original, though I don't mind being proved wrong on this.

I too was a fan of this mini-series. I could still remember the aliens eating live mice! Great if there is a revival of this show. I hope they do justice, unlike the recent revivals of some TV shows. And yes, I hope they make the aliens really cool.
But, I couldn't remember how the original show ended. Or why the aliens came to earth.

I don't remember how it ended, but I do remember they came to steal the earths natural resources. Good thing they are doing it now before we ruin them all

I would watch faithfully with my parents. I remember it as being fairly awesome and ground-breaking. The previews for the new one look even more amazing! With the advances in filming capabilities and computer graphics, I imagine this time around it will be even more amazing! I can't wait!
