Calling all MAC users....

Is there something similar to disk cleanup or disk defragmenter (windows) on MAC? I have recently made the switch from windows to mac and love it, but am not sure if there is a way to do the equivalent of disk cleanup or defragmenter on my mac book. Any help would be appreciated.

Congrats mehale on your switch to mac and I'm sure you wont regret it, I've made my switch for a year now and till now, I still enjoy using my iMac, almost zero headache, no virus, no blue screen, no freezes etc. Regarding mac defragmenting software, you might want to try iDefrag for your harddisk optimization, enjoy your mac!

Yes, I had been wanting a mac for a very long time, and I absolutely love it. Just as you say no headaches! Plus it is so very fast! It still amazes me. I will check out iDefrag like you suggested. Thank you so much for the help!

wow i never use mac product, you should check their web site to have information, or find forum that post many trick to clean up mac hardisk =)

I have been looking there but had not come up with much. That is why I was asking here. I have to admit though that I love the mac os, and dont miss windows one bit!
