Putting the em-PHA-sis on the wrong syl-LA-ble

These blue highlighted and underlined words here in our replies are driving me nuts when I read them. I am reading them as boldfaced or italicized and highlighted in my head and you should hear how strange things are coming out!lol Am I crazy? Are they bugging you too?

not really... its not as annoying to me. i dont know what they mean though. why are they underlined anyway? BTW, i like the title: "emPHAsis on the wrong sylLAble" - view from top (mike myers)... :) i just recently watched the movie.. i remembered it :)

Annoying is the word.....Actually, my Brother always said that before I heard it anywhere else. But I do remember Mike Myers saying it too!

They bothered me a bit in the beginning. But then I went to Tools and Internet Options and changed the 'unvisited links' to black. (Normally unvisited ones are blue, and visited ones are black). Now they don't bother me a bit, I just have to watch for the double underline. Try it, see if it helps.

Thanks so much, catdla1! I have attempted to do what you described but not sure if I am finding what I need to be able to do it. I will ask my 15 year old son. You know how kids are with computers. He will probably say, "Good grief, mom! This is all you need to do!"LOL Then he'll fix it for me....

they sort of bug me too but i guess this is just another way for mylot to make some cash that they use to pay us with, so i am not complaining!

Hello! Thanks for your response. I'm not really complaining either. Just thought that maybe others were finding them messing with their sentence structure too! LOL Apparently I am quite unique!

Hi rocke11 Those highlighted and underlined words are not really bugging me. When I first saw them I was actually surprised but then I realized those hyperlinks are meant to generate more income for myLot so its okay. It does not really bug me at all.

Yeah they bug me too, I don't know why certain words get highlighted and the others don't. I've tried to ignore them, but I can still see them..lol.
