I was just responding to a myLot discussion and when the page reloaded I noticed an add in the right margin for a Cajun seasoning product called "Slap Ya Mama." First, I want to know what person is so bold and disrespectful to slap their mother and second I want to know how it is we live in societies where it is appropriate to market a product that makes light of slapping one's mother. Am I the only one who finds this inappropriate?

You are right Ms. C. This is very inappropriate--very disrespectful of our mothers. How can a commercial present things like that as a "come on" to customers. There are so many innovative ways to convey product's messages but not to the expense of disrespecting moms.

I would like to see one of those people slap a real mother at any age and see what happened to them!

It just amazes me how people seem to be lost to the fact that things like this are a mixed message, especially for children.

Owssss... this has to be banned. I want to meet the copywriter of the commercial and let him/her experience the best ever slap in his/her entire life. LOL.

I have heard that expression all my life but i never knew anyone to take it literally like u have. It was always used over something u like & people would say it's so good makes u want to slap your mama. it's just an expression & i don't think people went around doing it. Where's your sense of homor?? lol

I don't find slapping funny. Or politically incorrect jokes, or homeless jokes, or a host of other things those who are lacking in wit (such as movies like Dumb and Dumber) consider amusing. We could go on and on with this but I think we both understand each other at this point.

There is a television commercial for I can't remember what that actually has young children in it saying "so good you'll slap your mommma." Now, I would like to see the mother of those kids react to one of them slapping her and then ask her what she was thinking.

I am past the point of being surprised by anything. I cannot believe someone lacks the respect to name a product such. I guess it takes all kinds of people.

Hi dear. Wondered where you were keeping yourself these days. You were even invited on a trip to singapore if I make $2500 in pv in one month. LOL You missed out. LOL I had never heard of this seasoning. I will have to look for it and write the distributors a letter. I guess they figure with a controversial name it will sale!
