I went out to my garden today and picked some raspberries -- they were yummy.
There's a single blossom on my forsythia (a spring bloomer).
I have a tomato plant still producing (it's behind glass, though).
It's October 25.
I'm in Ontario.
What's your garden doing?

Would you believe I still have some raspberries on the canes at the end of November?!? (Picked some yesterday.)

Hi, I'm in Ontario too but probably further North than you are. The frost pretty well killed everything off about 10 days ago and now the leaves are falling. Gardening is over for the season here.
The things I like about this time of year is a lot of the produce gets really cheap like potatoes, carrots, onions and beets. I wish I had a bigger freezer so that I could save some of them while the price is low as the price of vegetables gets really high in the middle of winter time.

Yeah, I'm in Hamilton. I seem to have my own private micro-climate in my backyard. It's always warmer there than in the front yard. Gets confusing sometimes. I'll pop out to the back yard for something and it'll be warm enough to not need a jacket but then when I leave the house maybe ten minutes later, it's too cold to go without a jacket.
If you have a cold spot in your basement, you can store root veggies there, as long as they're in the dark.
