Computer Issues

I was on gather and the computer started messing up. I was really getting aggravated and annoyed, hollering and screaming, which really makes me want to hunt down a mylotter's discussion about yelling at the computer, I thought I didn't, but now I know I do and have in the past yelled at the computer. In any case, first it was freezing, then the mouse, then the keyboard, so a few reboots later, it's working fine but not without hollering, getting annoyed and my husband laughing... Tell me your must funny yet annoying computer story, and I'll tell you more about mine... Just don't feel like typing it all out now.

It seemed to be one interesting time, especially when you kept yelling and I kept asking if you felt better, and I know there are a lot of times where I will yell at the computer like when the mouse falls off and I yell at it to get back up here, and when I am typing and it deletes what I typed or the cursor moves and I end up typing where I do not want to,or when it goes back a page or goes to a page without me telling it to,it gets really annoying,I love you.

I definitely know how you felt when it comes to having to deal with the computer. You still have to deal with the mouse, and I still have to deal with the computer though it's gotten better!

Hi SCG! Your story seems pretty funny and there is nothing wrong in yelling and screaming at your computer. It would have made you much releived and the poor computer did not know or feel that you were shouting due to his mischievous activities and tantrums. I also shout at my computer, when it gives me jitters and the poor computer just listens to me.

I shook the mouse and monitor, slammed the mouse down and just put my arms up, curling my fingers and just kind of screamed. Now jitters, I've always thought that to be just shaking because of being scared... so I must ask, what do you mean? lol.

Shaking mouse and banging the same would have scared the mouse and key board etc. and when they felt that you are going to thrash them like anything, they would have come to terms and would have started working..........LOL!~

Well, I can surely relate with Computer issues and wanting to Yell and Scream. I bought this Tower I am on in April and have had 2 major issues with it so far, and then thought I had another one again yesterday where it forced me to not be able to be online for like 4 hrs. or so. So I know what you mean by screaming. I guess you just Grin and bear it and wish you could BARE it. LOL

It's doing fine now. I am also on gather, and I posted my problems there too and a member said it might just be because I was trying to upload a photo in firefox on gather, so I should use IE. I tried it on IE today, and it looks like it will work, I don't have any photos on my computer Like I thought I did though, lol.

My laptop has made me mad as a hornet! I have been ready to throw that thing out the window! It is old and I know good and well it can hardly support the things I want to do on line but I have insisted on pushing it to the limits. It was great for a while but over time it's just not worth a dime. I am now in the market for a new one.

Hi Amber, I'd just like to say I hate the things. All I want to do is type something up not get all technical but will they let me. No. They go pink for weeks on end and make strange noises, they swallow up my text, they shut off in power cuts, and I keep tripping over the wires. And the keyboards get clogged up and sticky.

There's the perks and then there's the cons of owning a computer. They market them so well it's hard to resist, but then after awhile your left with clearing out the system, or just throwing it away!
