Mother nature is schizophrenic

Two days ago I went to work in long sleeves and a jacket. Yesterday I went to work in short sleeves. This morning it was chilly again and I went to work in layers. What gives?
I hate this see-saw type weather that makes it impossible to plan what clothing you will wear and be organized for work. It really makes things difficult from day to day as you never know what to expect. It would be so nice to experience seasonal weather that actually went with the season you were in.

It would be nice to know how to prepare your work clothes but I think mother nature will always do what she wants. It is funny how the weather can change so fast,I wish you luck in preparing your wardrobe around mother nature.Have a nice day.@Canellita (12029)

Guess what? Today is more than ten degrees warmer than yesterday!

LOL. Forget it! You live in the south. It has been so humid the past couple of mornings that when I take the kids to school I have to run the air conditioner to keep the windows from steaming up. No, it's not my hot air! LOL
It's just sticky and you feel HOT.

Oh, you mean like today where it wasn't just warm it was "turn the AC on because I'm sweating?" Ugh! The evening has been pre-storm breezy, the kind of calm that makes you think it's going to really pour when it does come down but no moisture as of yet.

That's the same way it is here! I was laughing because I got out of the vehicle and couldn't see. I wear glasses and the second I opened the door they were steamed up. Our ride to school is maybe five minutes and that's only if we get stopped by the traffic light.

I get that same thing with my sunglasses some times. This morning I have the windows open and the fans on. There is talk of it raining later.

it was 50 this morning when I went to work and by mid-afternoon it was 80, maybe a bit more - and HUMID!!!
I hate that
I remember my home ed teacher in 7th grade saying something along the line of "don't forget to take your coats home today because you will need them in the morning"
Honestly, I liked Mrs. Thompson, but never so much as I did then. She also said that she didn't like the weather when it was cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon - it seemed like a good way to get sick.
And remember, when I was in 7th grade, we didn't have air conditioning in my schools.

It really is a good way to get sick. You would not believe the drastic difference between today and yesterday! It is so humid! It will probably rain again and then cool off again but the difference is so dramatic!

hi canellita well it gets that way here too in usually sunny southern Ca. but the last few mornings have been unusually
cold for this area. which is now resulting in a lot of the
residents here getting the flu, just hope it doesn't happen
to me.

Don't worry, you can't get the flu just because the temperature changes. It's a virus. Just be really careful about washing your hands and take care to boost your immune system by eating and resting properly.

I think Global Warming has a lot to do with that, and we should all be trying to do something to prevent so much global warming. I don't think it's really been all that bad, my husband is the one that works, so he's outside more then I am... he actually works outside. I have a bad memory already, but I do believe he went to work with short sleeves on and was fine one day, but then the next and the day before it was cold... so I guess it's doing the same thing here as it was there.

The last few days have been a bit more consistent. I just wish it didn't go from one extreme to the other. A gradual change would be nice so you could adjust and get your seasonal clothing organized.

Yes, mother nature is that sometimes when we least expected and needed. Here in my place it's almost always hot and humid and the best defense is carrying an umbrella. I don't like it when it rains in the middle of a hot sunny day and you get soaked and when you reach your destination it's not raining.
Then there are days when it's really rainy and cold and everyone went out with jackets and in the middle of the day the sun came out so strong. Anyways, I don't wear long sleeves underneath the jacket.
With the weather today acting so weird, the seasons may changed in due time.

We have those rainy periods as well and I really get tired of getting wet. I bought rain boots one year and then I hardly used them because it rained less.
