what would you say if the family hangs out with someone who hurt someone

a few months back we found out that someone who grew up with my kids had sexaull assulted my daughter, now what made me so upset he came over to our house without me and my wife knowing this, but was over to hang out with my nephew who knew what he had done, but not the details. and of course we found out well we were leaving
and i did turn around and faced off with the guy, and he said its not like what you think? so i asked him if my daughter was lying, he tried to take advange of her well she was on pain pills. he was no she's not.
but of course he tells other people in the family a different story, my son is beliving him and my nephew as well as my son still hang out with this boy. to me i cant see how for one my son is beliving him over my daughter, and two how they can still be friends with him. we asked the boys so did he have to do for you to one belive my daughter and two not hang around with him, did he have to really rape her for them not to be friends with him
so how you feel if your son and other family memembers would be friends with someone like this still. if someone tried to sexuall assulted someone in your family or daughter ?

Hi syankee,
Just like what you wrote,the boy tells your family a different story and your family members did not know the full details on the contrary.
So,i guess,you should have informed your family about this matter,and if i were in your position..would make a legal complain against this guy.
It can be true or not..what is important,you and your family members will be aware of what this guy is into his mind.
I think your daughter is telling the truth...it is a hard decision to face that she's been raped or sexually molested.
It is not easy for a girl to admit such thing,so,your family members must know about this thing before it can lead to more worst situation.

yeah i wanted her to file charges but she have to be the one since she's 24. but to me if someone did this to my sister or a female cousin i couldnt be around them without hurting them.
i have to remind myself i dont and cant deal with this in the old ways i used to, my wife needs me more outside of jail not in jail since she's almost blind.
but yeah its sad

well,i think she can't do it for many reason.
Just like i wrote lately,,,it is not easy for a girl to face and admit in public that she was harassed/raped.
But i wish she will have more courage to face her assailant,that guy needs to be in jail...to be punished.
It would be hard also for your daughter seeing that other family members were treating that guy in normal ways as if nothing happened...ugh...i can't say what i can do if i am facing your situation.

Hello syankee525 this is checkmail and if am at a position where mine family betrayes me i just yell out worst about them, ya its really hurts especially the faith in them by me.Its all about trust till they or we broke it.But i want to share something with you specifically, am studying a little pshycology, and according to that the new generation is really crazy.Even they can welcome an killer near them but only to nail them.So better be aware of your members rather than the accused.This post could be read by everyone so talking a little about it.But can say new generation revenge or forgetting have no limits.

oh i could careless if someone or the person who did it read it, i had already told them what i thought about it, and i told my nephew who lives here with me if he is dumb enough to bring this person around to my house two things will happen i will go to jail to finish beating the crap out of the boy and two my nephew can find another place to live.
i am not worry about who read this in the family.
