Trek pay New Payout Rule

[b]Effective policy change: Oct 28 2009
Trek is implementing a 2 week pending period for payouts to PayPal.
The reason we are implementing this pending stage is to allow PayPal enough time to clear payments from our paying Clients. Trek has been paying out commissions on purchases and later being notified by PayPal that payments received were fraudulent, resulting in losses to our business. PayPal has suggested that we place a 2 week hold on payout requests to minimize this problem.
Trek will still make payout runs once per week but members must wait the 2 week holding period before they get the monies sent.
Once each week Trek will run a payout. This will occur sometime between Tuesday-Thursday.
Check your account for the amount of money. When you have $5.50 or more then a request for payout to PayPal option will appear. Make sure you have inserted your PayPal email address or your payout cannot be processed. Once we receive the payout request the monies will be deposited into your PayPal account after the 2 week holding period.[/b]

I have read that changes in their FAQ page before they posted a notice on home page about it. Iwas going to payout and wanted to see how long is their processing for it. That is why I saw that trekpay new ruling.
So before October 28, how long did they usually do the payout?

Well that was better! I wished I joined trekpay 1 week earlier... hhahaha.
Good luck to all of us! I am excited for this will be the first payout that I will receive from them.

First I would like to say thanks for your opinion. I am also a member of Trek Pay and I am not reach to the minimum requirement for withdraw money so I can not say anything about processing of receiving money in PayPal because I only believe which occur with me. But I have a question that my PayPal account is not verified can I receive money from Trek Pay because in India PayPal verification is very difficult I have been try for that and has been spend $1.95 for that but in my card statement there was no any 4 digit no. so I was very tiered if you have any solution please give me solution so that I could receive money by Trek Pay.

From what I know, trek Pay don't require member to have verified PayPal account so don't worry about it. As for your verification doubt, I urge you to email Paypal support and see what can be done so you don't waste your $1.95. For my case, if I remember correctly, the 4 digit no. that appear on my credit card statement is in the merchant name which state Paypal and together with some numbers.

It actually depends, the earnings is profit sharing. They will credit you with points. Payouts are done once a week, within Tuesday to Thursday, all payout will be deposited to trekpay account. Once you reached the minimum cash out which is $5.50, you can now ask for paypal withdrawal.

Wow. That's quite a long time for payout waiting. But it's okay. As long as they will still pay their members then there's no problem with that. I just hope I will receive my first payment from them soon. I'm nearing payout. I got 5 dollars on my account already. Wish me luck.

I have joined Trekpay sometime back . I have read these conditions of Trek Pay. One thing which I am not able to understand is that in my account I am able to see only credits and no cash amount ,only $0.00 so how these credits are exchanged into cash ,can you please explain me ?

i don't know whats wrong with these trekpay.com guys..i sign up last week and even i got the conformation via mail.. but i am not able to log in into my account there. is there any proble going with trekpay

Frankly, I am a member of Trekpay but I haven't noticed it yet. Thanks for telling me. I don't understand why it will take two weeks because it is a long time. When we reach the minimum payout, and I will wait a week so that I can receive the money. I think one week is already enough. It is strange that it will change to two weeks now. I am a little afraid of it. Will it be a sign that this website goes to be the scam? Perhaps I have thought a lot, but this is because I have been cheated by many websites and I got this experience. Actually I have got the payment from Trekpay twice already. I hope it will keep on its good fame.

I haven't login to Trek Pay since weeks, so this is really a news to me, but as long as they are paying us honestly, I don't mind.Many of my friends had got paid from this site.Me, I am yet to reach minimum payout.

Thanks for sharing this info here, Monouu.... Well, i am only $0.90 away from reaching my minimum payout in this site. So, seems like, we need to wait a week longer than usual to get paid from this site. Anyway, i don't mind, as long the admin will still maintain this site as a paying site, that's good for me and my referrals...

Thanks for the information. Two weeks is not that long to wait. It's not like it's tons of money. I am new to Trek Pay and still don't know all the rules.

that is similar to what myLot has. it takes the same amount of time. as long as payments are made, there is nothing to worry. so far trekpay had been paying everyone without fail. i feel there is nothing to worry unless they close down.

Yeah i know it... It okay if they hold it and they still paying it... I know if you make mass paid people, some paid maybe reject by paypal system and you will lose money. So pending period is important so paypal system can effectively receive the money. Oh well paypal need upgrade their system seriously.
