You can reduce the data volume by using either a zip program or Winrar to compress the pictures, but make sure that the person receiving the email has the right software to decompress the attachment. The number and size of pictures that you can send will depend on your ISP because many of them will have limits of the size of email that you can transmit, and the recipient may also have limits on what they can receive per email. If you are thinking of sending a lot of pictures then try sending a few per email, or maybe upload them to the internet so your friends can download the ones they want. Personally, I would place them on a CD and post them.

If you reduce the size of the pic, it will also reduce the quality and pixels of it. But of course you can do it, either using Microsoft Office Picture Manager, Adobe Photoshop, and other capable softwares. After reducing the sizes of the pics, you can then zip it all together for additional file size reduction. As long as it is 10 mb or less, you can attach it in email. If it's larger than 10 mb, you can just send it through Yahoo Messenger. Happy myLotting!

it depends upon the email service you are using. also make it sure that all the pics are in JPEG or (JPG) format.

You are being forced to reduce the size because of the email attachments size restrictions. However, there is another alternative. Its is called Binfer. Binfer is similar to email, except you can send many pictures and in their original resolution. Not only that, the pictures will be sent straight to your contact's computer without requiring you to upload first and then your contact to download them. Check it out: http://www.binfer.com
