I have a client, who really does well in bargaining. To the end,I almost have no words to say.You know what?We talked about $7 for half a hour.I was beated.
I only buy things in the no-bargain places, the reason is that I don't how to do that. Also I feel a little shame. And now I found it's really good for one to bargain. You'll do save money.I'll learn:)
How about you?Are you godd at bargaining?

No, I am not good at it. Sometime I do try to bargain with the shopkeeper. But here in India there are many markets where shopkeeper will tell three times of the price. And to get a good deal you need to bargain with them. But one thing I have observed that girls do good bargaining, they are born with this skill.

I disagree with you. Now I see shopping is not just for girls or woman. Man likes shopping nowadays. And they sometimes can bargain better than woman, LOL. I like to bargain when I buy things in markets, flea markets. I like to get good deal so my money is spent worth. They are many shopkeepers or seller purposely mark up the price so to let the buyer bargain .

To be honest, I am really not be good at bargain, and I really don't like do that sometimes, but you know ,sometimes you have to do it if you don't want to be decived or befooled, so I would decided wether to bargain and how to bargain by the different circumstance, if the quoted pirce that shopkeeper privod is too unconscinable to accept, I would bargain it with both feet. If the pirce is in the reasonable bound, I would not to do it possibly, and like you ,I also like buy things in the supermarket and shopping center, it would make you take easy and feel cheerful. That it is .

No I am not good in bargaining. That's why I am going to shopping center to buy things, not to the stores or markets where require a bargaining process. However, my mom is quite good in bargaining. At least, she is better then me. But my boss is the best in bargaining. She can take as many days as she wants to make a bargain. Sometime, it takes weeks just for bargaining one item

Hi Lisa,
Your client is good in bargain ya! Talked half an hour for $7 is a good deal, LOL.
I like to bargain, sometimes, I would let go the things I want to buy if I don't get a good deal. But of course I am not bargaining all the time, I can only bargain at markets, flea markets, road side stalls or streets.
You have to have some skills to be good at bargain. It is not that easy but I would say practice make perfect. Sometimes I feel so proud where I buy things more cheaper than my friends.
When traveling abroad, it is important to bargain in those shopping streets or tourist spots. Those seller are very good in mark up the price and sell to overseas tourist. So I am always make sure I am good in bargain when I am traveling in other countries.

Here in the Philippines, bargaining is an art form. We try to bargain on anything to save money (that's because we need every savings we can get). The trick is to know when and where you do your bargaining, and of course, Guts. You need to start bargaining in a price lower that your target, but not too low as to be neglected. Often times than not i get a deal for my ideal price, sometimes even lower. It takes practice really, and a lot of sweet talk and convincing power, but it can definitely be learned. BTW, i learned good bargaining from a Chinese friend, and he's still better at it than i am.
